GAMD: Saturday 14 January 2023, Italy

Hi everyone, putting a reminder on my smartphone to document a GAMD worked 🙂
It was a different Saturday than usual, as we had made an appointment at a dealership to do a test drive, so it doesn't reflect my 'average Saturday' but hey, that's okay, isn't it?



Let's start right away with what I forgot to document: breakfast, which is one of my favourite moments of the day (and maybe that's why I forgot to photograph it: I was enjoying it!). Knowing that a good part of the day would be occupied by that appointment, I tried to get by with some housework in the morning, like folding the dry clothes…



… and preping pumpkin soup in advance for the evening's dinner.



I washed, dressed and put on makeup.



Here we are in the car on our way to our appointment.



Just arrived at the dealership.

Undocumented - we did our test drive and discussed with the seller.

We had most of the afternoon free and we were "far" from home, so we took advantage of the sunny day to explore a nearby city, discovering that there was an outdoor event dedicated to agriculture and crafts that weekend.



Here was a farmer demonstrating an ancient tool for processing corn into flour.

This was an exhibition of historic cars (Alfa Romeo).



In the main square there were dozens of stalls with gastronomic specialties from all over Italy (you know, food in Italy is serious business).

Since my Saturdays can't be 100% fun and glamour, once we got home we defrosted the freezer (is there anything more obnoxious?) Next, laundry.





I prepare dinner.



I end the evening on the sofa, watching “Despicable Me 3”: found by chance, I didn't think I'd laugh so much!

Gosh I miss Italian food markets in town squares *drools*

The crazy thing is that we were looking for a specific salami from the area (we were in the province of Brescia) and there were stalls from ANY region except Lombardy XD

We're great BMW fan, you know what they call "family feeling" in the automotive sector? I think it remains one of the brands with the best value for money.
